Beautifully embossed and decorated 150gm Travel Tins containing Twist Wrapped Glucose Travel Drops based on the Original 1920s tin. Each tin depicts a historical event that helped shape the world.......with the aide of Simpkins Glucose Drops!! Here at Simpkins we are proud of our History and are pleased show the world!
We have designed three scenes, as we proudly supported and supplied our English Glucose confections to RAF WWII personnel and the successful team who conquered Mount Everest in 1953.
3 Traditional variants:
Mixed Mints - Depicting Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hilary relaxing and drinking a well earned cup of tea at camp IV after their successful ascent of Mount Everest in 1953.
Mixed Fruits - Depicting Tenzing Norgay on the summit of Mount Everest at 11.30am on the 29th May 1953.
Barley Sugars - Depicting a De Havilland Mosquito Bomber, as we proudly supplied our products to RAF personnel for High Altitude flying during sorties in WWII.
